This five volume set includes a number of his entertaining thriller and horror novels. The set comprises: The scarce thriller novel The Flame and the Wind (1967), set during the Roman Empire. The scarce Nothing but the Night (1968), a pyschological horror novel in which a murderess goes on a rampage in a hospital. For Fear of Little Men (1972), an uncommon horror novel in which a North Wales folk tale and a conspiracy link a number of incidents. The uncommon thriller novel Mister Brown"s Bodies (1975), in which Bill Easter and Peggy Tey find themselves on a yacht crewed by fugitives. The Cyclops Goblet (1977), a thriller novel in which Bill Easter and Peggy Tey unravel the mysteries surrounding Colonel Sir James Harcourt Wellington Booth. In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, cloth is in excellent condition to all volumes. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, except for the odd spot to the fore edge and to the first and last couple of pages of Nothing but the Night. Dust wrappers are mostly smart, with a little shelf wear to the upper extremities of Cyclops Goblet and a tape repair to the reverse of the wrap to Cyclops Goblet. Marks to the rear of the wraps to Fear of Little Men and the Flame and the Wind. A little spotting to the wrap of Nothing but the Night. Fine . Ill.: Not Stated. Fine/Near Fine.
